Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This position is temporary. Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and managing patient information
- Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications
- Perform basic coding for medical billing purposes
- Assist with laboratory procedures and specimen collection
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
- Experience with medication administration and knowledge of dosage calculations
- Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
