Address- Evaluates new tests and performs development projects according to plans and guidelines provided by the Clinical Director and/or Laboratory Supervisor.
- Coordinates and oversees development projects, such as new assays and procedures, in the department. Communicates scientific information and progress to the laboratory supervisor and director.
- Under the direction and consultation with the appropriate Pathology management, delegates responsibilities on development projects to appropriate technologists.
- Performs job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the customer service vision of the University of Maryland Medical System, including demonstration of appropriate behavior towards patients, visitors, staff, peers and physicians
- Provides technical advice and directions, and serves as the resource person for laboratory staff involved in a development project.
