Responsibilities:

• Transport or accompany patients to doctors office or to the hospital.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (Light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping etc.)
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition to the Registered Nurse
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
• Maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality at all times due to access of sensitive information.
• Maintain regular attendance, consistent attendance, that is flexible to meet the needs of the client.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 and over.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have a true desire to care for others.
• Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
• 2+ years of home care experience is required.
