Our client is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join their team in Miami, FL. As a Certified Hand Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will administer care to patients of all ages and coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. Effective resource utilization and communication to resolve problems are critical components of this role, as well as participation in performance improvement and program growth initiatives. Compliance with infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs is also expected.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
- Administer occupational therapy to patients of all ages.
- Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff.
- Demonstrate effective resource utilization.
- Communicate and assist in resolving problems.
- Participate in performance improvement and program growth initiatives.
- Participate in infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree.
- Occupational Therapy Florida State License.
- 1-2 Years of Hand Therapist Experience Preferred.
- BLS Certification.
General Comments:
- Salary Range: Min: $32.62, Mid: $40.82, Max: $48.93; $3 shift differential.
- Shift: Monday-Friday with rotating weekends; 5 x 8 schedule.
- Sign-on bonus: Case by case.
