What You Will Do:
Revv Aviation is looking for a Part-Time Flight Instructor to add the team in our Schaumburg location. The Flight Instructor will perform flight instruction, pre-flight planning and briefing, ground and flight lessons, post-flight debriefs. If you are a Certified Flight Instructor that works well under pressure and enjoys motivating students throughout their training experience, this is the role for you! At Revv we enjoy growing and developing our employees, so even if you have no experience as an instructor, we still encourage you to apply!
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to flight safety and standardization discussions
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with established Company and FAA procedure
- Adhere to Revv’s safety and operating policies and procedures
- Become familiar with with part 61 and Part 141 operations using the appropriate syllabus
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief instructor
Qualifications:
- Certified Flight Instructor-CFI Airplane
- Current Medical Certificate
- CFII (Preferred but not required)
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Highschool diploma or GED Equivalent
