Certified Financial Planner & Tax Preparer

This job requires 3 - 5+ years of financial planning and U.S. tax preparation experience. This person will prepare comprehensive financial plans for individuals and calculations to assist with decision making. A thorough knowledge of the planning processes, investment universe, insurance, trust and estate matters, related legal aspects, and tax compliance is required.

• This position is 100% Remote

Qualified candidates should possess CPA, CFP, CPA/PFP or similar designations.

Principle responsibilities and activities include:

• Financial planning process.
• Tax preparation for assigned clients.
• Review task assignments for each client and work directly with team members to ensure all follow-up and action items are documented and completed on time.
• Make recommendations to clients.
• Assist with investment research and/or company valuation projects.

Skills and job requirements:

• Previous tax return preparation is required.
• Tax software and investment software experience is required.
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple assignments
• Develop quality relationships
• Identify client needs and service opportunities, and propose solutions as issues arise.
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills are a must

There are opportunities to provide strategic consulting services, train and coach staff, and perform business valuations.

Salary determined based on experience.

Full or part time. 100% Remote.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
