Starting Pay at $27.00-$30.45. Based on experience.

Additional $50.00/day per diem.

Iowa Civil Contracting, Inc has been in business since 1972. We specialize in Total Pavement and Bridge Restoration. Iowa Civil Contracting is looking for an experienced Crane Operator. Our jobsites are primarily in Iowa, Nebraska. We do travel throughout the Midwest states.

Job Description

• Certified Crane operator will be working with one, or several of our construction crews. Performing duties assigned by supervisory personnel.
• Travel will be expected.
• Prior construction experience is required.
• Operating hydraulic and friction lattice boom cranes.
• Pile driving including diesel, vibratory and gravity hammers.
• Swinging concrete, lumber and rebar or building materials.
• When crane operation is not needed, operator is expected to assist with other construction duties.
• Valid certification or license to operate a crane (NCCO or NCCER).
• At least 2 years of experience operating a variety of cranes.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for crane operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams to determine proper lifting techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with other team members.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate positioning of materials with the crane.
• Inspect and maintain equipment at a high standard.

• Normal range of vision and hearing
• Capable of standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
