Certified Advanced Aesthetician

Deschutes Dermatology has an exceptional opportunity for a Certified Advanced Aesthetician to join our dynamic team and promote comprehensive care and healthy, beautiful skin!

This position offers competitive wages, Hourly Pay to include commission after introductory period, a generous benefit package and includes CME and licensure reimbursement. Pay is $21.00 - $23.00 depending on experience.

Required Qualifications

• Current Certified Advanced Aesthetician in the state of Oregon
• Minimum of 3-year medical experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery Clinic
• Current certification in medical CPR required
• Computer and EMR skills (Modernizing Medicine EMA a plus!)
• Positive attitude, willing to learn and yet self-directed and flexible
• Ability to contribute to a team dynamic and work well with people of all ages
• Knowledge of medical principles, practices, and techniques

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform patient skin care consultations and recommend products
• Obtain complete consent form from patients for procedures and/or photos.
• Perform a wide variety of treatments, including, but not limited to dermaplaning, HydraFacial, light chemical peels and laser treatments.
• Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Have a neat and polished appearance and work area
• Keep up to date of changes in techniques or requirements
• Maintain registrations and/or certifications
• Be willing to attend off-site educational meetings when requested
• Work collaboratively with Physician Owner, Physician Assistants, and RN Injector with drafting and implementation of cosmetic policies and procedures
• Creation and marketing of cosmetic specials, email blast and work with Clinic website and Social Media contacts.
