Certified Addiction Specialist

Overview

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Addiction Treatment Specialist to join our team at Western Rception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Responsibilities

The Addiction Treatment Specialist is responsible for coordinating all substance abuse/addiction program activities in a correctional setting. This includes providing intake, assessment, treatment planning, and group and individual counseling.

Qualifications

• License not required, but must be one of the following:
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
  • Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC)
  • Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC)
  • Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor - Provisional (RADC-P)
  • Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)
  • Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC)
  • Co-occurring Disorder Professional (CDP)
  • Co-occurring Disorders Professional Diplomat (CDPD)
• Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification required
• Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance
