While serving as the Cerner Community Works Application Analyst you will participate in and technology optimization efforts across the organization and operate as the liaison for both the client and Optum. You will support clients in various endeavors including the planning, designing, training, and supporting the implementation and ongoing utilization of the Community Works application.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the gathering, interpreting, and utilizing of complex data to maintain stable operations and ongoing improvement of IS Applications. These systems may include, but are not limited to, functionality to support clinical, fiscal, IS and business operations. This position works in a multi-disciplinary environment that requires excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities. The IS Analyst design system components, write specifications, define solutions, perform system build and create system level documentation
  • Collaborates and engages with IS leadership and committees supporting the overall strategy for IS
  • Serves as role model and coach in quality customer service.
    Communicates effectively with customers and staff
  • Understands the NLH culture and organizational model, actively builds relationships to establish oneself as an approachable, credible partner
  • Defines and oversees system testing when required, ensuring sufficient documentation of completed system testing, testing results, and updates needed to test plans
  • Develops measurement of IS adoption and usability within the clinical staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with Cerner Community Works in Hospital Services operations, hospital healthcare management, clinical leadership, or information technology positions
  • 1+ years of experience with other IS functions to oversee the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support and improvement of applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading small to large-scale optimization projects
  • History of fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion and driving innovation
  • Proven ability to follow project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence others, including working across diverse groups to drive commonality and reusability in solutioning
  • Proven relationship management skills in complex situations
  • Proven consultative and collaborative style with demonstrated ability to team with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, individual leadership, and team collaboration skills

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
