Leading our Summer School as Centre Director will provide you with a fun, diverse and unforgettable experience!
Who are we? Stafford House Study Holidays is an English Language school hosted by our state-of-the-art CATS Academy Boston high school located in Braintree, MA. These jobs are residential so no matter where you live, you can apply to be part of the fun this summer.
As Centre Director, you're the glue that binds the whole program together and makes our students' stay with us educational, fun, safe, and memorable.
Is it for you? We look for candidates with proven working experience in effective management and leadership, ideally within a summer or year-round school. You'll oversee the management of the center; therefore, you must be a great communicator and have experience working with young people from different cultures. This varied role requires managing budgets, customer, and team satisfaction and being the responsible safeguarding lead on site.
Here are some of the duties you'll be involved in:
- Coordinating the academic and activities program. Managing and working alongside the Centre Management Team, you will be responsible for the high performance and delivery of the student's experience
- Managing customer expectations. Troubleshooting any issues that may arise in a professional, calm, and satisfactory way
- Controlling budgets and expenditure
- Act as one of the Designated Safeguarding Leaders for the center
- Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all students and your team
- Participating in pastoral duties with our students, including night duties on a rota basis
- Working 6 days per week - as part of the management team, this is a fully immersive position
