Hours Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per weekSaturday through Wednesday schedule)
Purpose Statement:
The Broadcast Audio Engineer helps to introduce people to Jesus and develop fully devoted followers of Christ by ensuring the audio system and mixes at our Broadcast location (Manheim) are the absolute best they can be, through leading our team of contractors and volunteers. They ensure that all systems are operational and 'weekend ready' so that our gatherings are distraction free, helping to orient people's hearts towards taking their next step in faith.

• Can articulate an identifiable salvation experience and lives out a pattern of spiritual development and regular participation at LCBC.

Evaluation:
The Broadcast Audio Engineer will meet regularly with the Production Director for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.

Primary Responsibilities: Broadcast (80%)
- TECHNICAL
- Own all things audio on the Manheim campus.
- Front of House, Monitors and Broadcast Audio
- Adapt systems to accomplish new goals
- Building User Guides, Labeling, Organization, Improving Workflows
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and errors
- Make sure systems are weekend ready
- Support video and lighting staff with projects as needed (i.e. LED wall, rigging)
- Responsible for special events through the year, beyond the weekend
- i.e. Leadership Summit, Funerals, Christmas and Easter Gatherings
- RELATIONAL
- Grow our contract and volunteer audio team
- Front of House, Monitors and Broadcast
- Inspire volunteers by sharing stories of life change
- Regularly connect with volunteers and point them towards following Christ
- Recruit and Train new volunteers on our teams
- OWNERSHIP
- Operate with an owner's mindset around Broadcast
- Lead up and down the organizational chart to improve how and what we do
- Focus on leading, without being in charge of, the Broadcast Team
Primary Responsibilities: Central (20%)
- Support LCBC locations to create excellent environments
- Repair and/or replace equipment
- Attend location rehearsals/gatherings to observe and coach
- Develop and lead audio trainings
- Regional and/or location specific
- Communicating the LCBC target sound
- Support Music and Video Production teams on projects
- Audio quality of pre-produced content
- Future record projects
- Recording, engineering, mastering, etc.

- Ongoing physical ability to setup/teardown/install equipment.
- Ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
