Central Scheduler

Johnson Curran Optometry has an immediate opening for an Appointment Scheduler. Must be able to acknowledge patients in a warm, courteous manner while answering a high volume of calls. We desire a person who wants to help create a high quality professional experience for our patients. Responsibilities include inbound and outbound patient calls to schedule/reschedule/cancel appointments; verifying vision/medical insurance; and updating patient information in designated databases. Must be able to develop and maintain a working knowledge of eyecare as they relate to the position. Must be reliable in punctuality and attendance; be willing to work as part of a team; communicate effectively with other units within the company. Must follow HIPAA guidelines at all times and adhere to confidentiality policy. Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred. Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
