Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can accumulate in homes and pose health risks. The primary goal of a Radon Mitigation System Installer is to ensure the safety of occupants by implementing effective radon mitigation measures.

Job Overview:

As a Radon Mitigation System Installer, you will be responsible for the proper installation and maintenance of radon Mitigation Systems in residential and commercial properties. This role involves assessing radon levels, designing and implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and plan radon Mitigation Systems based on test results and building structures.
• Install and configure radon Mitigation Systems, including fans, pipes, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure that all installations comply with industry standards and local regulations.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair existing radon Mitigation Systems as needed.
• Educate clients on radon risks and mitigation options.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
• Stay informed about industry and company advancements, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as home inspectors and contractors, to ensure comprehensive solutions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in radon mitigation is preferred.
• Previous experience in radon mitigation or a related field is advantageous.
• Knowledge of radon measurement devices and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with building structures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

Radon Mitigation System Installers may work both indoors and outdoors, and the role may involve climbing ladders, working in crawl spaces, and handling various tools and equipment.
