RNWBL is a leading renewable energy company and is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Traveling PE Technicians. RNWBL works in all sections of renewable energy including Solar & BESS Energy
Traveling PE Technicians are integral members of our crews who work in a team environment providing commissioning, Inverter maintenance, Inverter troubleshooting, SCADA.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair PE Inverters (Required).
- Inspect/Troubleshoot Electrical Systems.
- Work with crew members to complete projects within established policies and procedures.
- Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety.
- Communicate with team in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and concerns to the best of your ability.
- Inverter troubleshooting
- Communications
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational, professional and/or other requirements:
MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL!!!!
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Power Electronics Inverter experience REQUIRED!
- Strong Troubleshooting background on Central Inverters (Required)
- Experience complying with OHSA safety requirements and regulations.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service.
- Great attention to detail.
- Thrive in a team environment.
- High integrity and energy a must!
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Must have full range or mobility in upper and lower body; ability to work in various positions & environments, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, pull and push materials and equipment weighing approximately 50+ pounds on a frequent basis!!
- Working conditions require being exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Power-Electronic Certified!!
- Construction experience required!!
- Use of hand tools and testing equipment required!!
- Electrical Commissioning experience required!!
