Job Summary:
The Historic Easton Cemetery is seeking a skilled and experienced Cemetery Grounds Supervisor for immediate hire. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Cemetery Grounds and lawn services at Easton Cemetery as well as one additional cemetery location in the Easton area. Our primary services include lawn maintenance and landscaping. The strength in our services comes with the ability to manage our manpower and resources effectively. Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include: Primary duty and responsibility is to oversee entire grounds operations, acquisition and use of resources, supervise, and assist grounds staff to safely and effectively perform all of the Essential Functions of the Cemetery Grounds Workers.
· Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of all grounds and facilities.
· Management of all on-site and off-site personnel engaged in lawn maintenance and landscaping.
· Operate hand-held tools and equipment including but not limited to a shovel, pick, rake, zero turn lawn mower, weed trimmer, leaf blower, chain saw
· Drive, use, and properly operate equipment.
· Management of any in-house and contracted lawn crews.
· Management of all equipment for safety and preventative maintenance.
· Recruitment, training, scheduling, employee retention
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area
· Perform other ground duties as assigned
· Follow all Company safety rules. Bring safety concerns to the attention of the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:
· Driver’s License required/Willing to travel locally as needed.
· Minimum of three years crew management experience preferred.
· Must have experience working independently and with a small staff.
· Must be responsible, driven and reliable.
· Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
· Ability to lift between 25 - 100 pounds, proper bending, squatting, stretching, pushing, dragging and pulling.
Hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm with occasional weekend hours. Seasonal from roughly April through October with potential to discuss longer term employment.
A typical day begins as early as 7:00 a.m., and ends around or after 3:00 p.m. All crew members leave the office together in the morning so being on time and reliable is essential to your success in this role.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
