Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home is seeking a candidate to fill a full- time Cemetery Coordinator/ Gravedigger position. We are looking for an individual who can maneuver and manipulate a backhoe with precision in confined spaces. An onsite test will be required to demonstrate ability.

You will be responsible for opening and closing graves using machinery, setting up for cemetery burials, along with other outdoor responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge and expert experience operating backhoe and/or front end loader
• Ability to work in a team setting, be cooperative and collaborative
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, core standards, and compliance matters

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass drug screening
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license
• Heavy machinery experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
