Job Overview:
- Work Schedule, 2-2-3, 12 hour Night Shift, 6p - 6a
- As an Operations Tech in the Cellar, you will work in the elements (outdoors) occasionally to help unload product into our tanks as well as work with team to blend products for production purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload rail cars with hoses and pumps to fill tanks.
- Cellar operation by completing tank sanitation, sampling, and blending.
- Demonstrate situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor to include Safety, Quality and Productivity.
- Responsible for compliance with E & J Gallo Winery sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable and environmentally sound. This is done by supporting programs at each location for conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling, which are critical for our operations to achieve tangible environmental results.
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus one 1 year of beverage production or manufacturing experience.
Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the facility.
Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt.
Required to work overtime as needed.
Required to work assigned shift.
Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Required to comply with company GMP policies.
Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
Basic knowledge and data entry into production/quality systems.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: Set Rate Listed as $19.50 - $19.50
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
