Position: CEI Project Administrator - Staff Professional

As individuals we are great, and together we are even better so come help us make a difference as we are currently seeking a full-time CEI Project Administrator to join our team in the Panhandle of Florida including the following market locations:

  • Tallahassee
  • Marianna
  • Panama City

It is anticipated that the CEI Project Administrator primary assignments will include coordination of field technicians and field operations; performing engineering calculations/design; preparation of proposals, reports, and pay estimates; and general oversight of construction project inspections and contractor operations. Position will work under supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer. Qualified candidates must have a broad understanding of transportation project delivery to include planning, design, and construction. Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and possess the ability to work as a team player.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, plus two (2) years of CEI experience in road and/or bridge projects. In lieu of a degree, individuals must possess eight (8) years of responsible and related experience, two (2) years of which involved construction of major road or bridge structures. A Master's Degree in Civil Engineering may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
  • FDOT and/or Turnpike Authority experience required;
  • FDOT qualifications required in the following areas:
    • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
    • FDOT Advanced MOT
    • CTQP Quality Control Manager Course passing exam
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn commercial software applications;
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions;
  • Ability to routinely lift 40 to 50 lbs. required;
  • Overnight out of town travel and the ability to work outside normal business hours.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
