Job Opportunity: CDL Yard Hostler
Local Candidates Preferred!
Requirements:
- Possess a current Class A CDL
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Stable work history (excluding new entrants to the workforce, temporary/seasonal work, or work history affected by recession-related instability)
- Availability for full-time work
Job Duties:
- Safely move trucks from parking spots to loading docks
- Assist the warehouse with tracking and loading functions during non-driving periods
- Conduct thorough checks on trucks for temperatures, tires, and safety
- Perform walk-around pre-inspections
- Monitor fuel levels on TK units
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Be a team player with an outgoing personality
- Be available to work Monday-Friday with a 2 pm start time
Employment Package/Salary:
- Full-time position
- Open on holidays, closed on Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving Day
Compensation:
- Wage: $22/hour
