Cdl Truck Driver W/ Tanker Endorsement

Job Summary:

Operate an over the road semi-truck.  Additional duties regarding the movement of trailers and product over the road, around work sites and around the plant yard.

Duties/Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced CDL Truck Driver with a TANKER ENDORSEMENT to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a company truck in normal over the road driving conditions and safely moving trailers around the shipping yard. The Operator will also position trailers for loading and moving them to staging areas for pickup. Must remain aware of locations and travel directions of Mi-Jacks and other vehicles and pedestrians that may be in close proximity so as not to hit or have impact with them.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to safely operate company truck.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follows Gate Precast safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness and ability to work as a team player
• Perform additional duties as requested or required.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience with tractor trailers and over the road driving

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on an infrequent basis, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, reach, climb stairs, squat, grasp, and twist for extended periods. Limited exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as 6" leather work boots, hard hat, work gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection.
