Cdl Truck Driver

Hamtramck Recycling is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of recyclable materials to our facility in Hamtramck, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Transport recyclable materials from various locations to the Hamtramck Recycling facility.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate records and logs of mileage, hours of service, and other required information.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and represent Hamtramck Recycling in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment, including roll-off trucks and front-end loaders.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
