Job Description:

Residential Rear Loader Refuse Driver/Operator is responsible for the safe driving and operation of residential rear load refuse truck operation. Driver/Operator would be responsible for being proficient in completing daily residential route in the area and haul to the local landfill to unload.

· Must wear appropriate PPE

· Operation of rear load refuse residential truck

· Follow route sheet daily to provide service to customers

· Crew leader as the driver and supervise trash collectors/bumpers on the back of the truck

· Ensure safety of truck and trash collectors/bumpers

· Conducting vehicle pre-trip & post trip inspection daily

· May need to lift items up to 50lbs

· Keep truck & work areas clean and tidy including behind trash blade

· Make deliveries of company equipment if requested

· Transporting vehicles to/from repair shops

· Assist other employees & other company needs as requested

Education, Experience, & Requirements

· Previous residential Trash Route Driver experience preferred but not required

· 2 years minimum CDL Driving experience

· Commercial Driver License A or B

· CDL Medical Card (1 or 2 year)

· Background check

· Annual MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)

· Drug test program (pre-employment, random, post-accident)
