Skills Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from clients, Bus Operators, and other personnel professionally and courteously.
Observe and ensure buses are departing on a timely basis per the assigned schedule
Stay updated with DOT regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Flexibility to work a designated shift (morning, afternoon, evening, including weekends) as well as be on call for and able to report in for an emergency operation.
Two (2) years of Supervisory experience is required, previous Dispatch experience is required, Customer Service experience is required, and commercial driving experience is required.
Must possess a Class B or A Commercial Driver License with Passenger Endorsement and an update DOT Medical Certification Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for serving as the front-line of transportation support including collaborating with the Client coordinating route planning and coverage contingency plans, interfacing with passengers, and other Supervisors to ensure the safe and timely transportation for the City of Atlanta.
Provide direct support, management, and leadership to all Bus Managers within the transportation zone.
Provide daily oversight and management of operations, extending front-line support to drivers as needed.
Manage employee issues including tardiness, absenteeism, late call-outs, and employee relations disputes.
Ensure Buses are entered in the GPS System Prioritize the importance of safety in all transportation services through practice, communication, reinforcement, and regulation.
Provide front-line observation of Bus Managers for reasonable suspicion of drug or alcohol misuse and respond accordingly as trained.
Review daily Moments of Safety with the Team
Notify Bus Drivers of selection for random drug and alcohol testing.
Coordinate transportation route planning, coverage, and contingency plans.
Make daily adjustments to routes, schedules, and driver assignments based on absences, late callouts, breakdowns, and other factors
Respond to all accidents on-site as they may occur and Coordinate with law enforcement officials in the event of accidents or issues requiring their involvement.
Manage the continuous safety and quality improvement for all transportation services within the zone. Regularly observe Bus Drivers and identify needs for remedial training and develop action plans with Safety & Training.
