Moffitt Services is looking to expand our team in our Midland, TX, location. We are currently hiring for both day and night shift positions to meet our growing business and customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to various client locations.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
- Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow established safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including quantities delivered, locations, and customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly, and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years verifiable driving experience
- Minimum 3 years tanker/liquid hauling experience
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, specifically with bulk liquid products.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates)
Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- CDL A (Required)
Relocation
- This position is not eligible for relocation.
