Crown Information Management aka Crown Shredding is currently looking to hire:
CDL Drivers with a Class A or B endorsement
Crown Information Management is a locally owned and operated, secure information management service company, that has been serving Florida since 2003. We provide a full line of shredding services, record storage, and scanning services that assists Florida businesses in securely managing their physical information. Our team creates information management solutions for our customers data, no matter what format, location, or lifecycle stage its in.Our drivers are the public face of Crown Information Management, trusted to transport and handle client materials and engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. This important team member drives a company Mobile Shredding Vehicle, transporting materials from client and Crown Information Management locations. A Document Destruction/Shredder loads and unloads with a variety of mechanisms, prepares paperwork and performs daily inspections and some maintenance on the Mobile Shredding Vehicle to ensure its efficient operation. This position calls for a significant degree of strength and stamina.The day usually begins between 7:00am and 8:00am. The average day length is between 8 and 9 hours; average number of stops per day range between 15 and 20.Primary Repsonsibilities: Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving without assistance
Executes accurate and timely handling of client delivery and shredding requests
Prepares accurate paperwork and records
Attends all required training and meetings which may be outside normal business hours
Deliver containers of various sizes and weights that do not exceed 120 pounds each
Requirements:
Must have at least a CDL A or B License with a minimum of 2 years' experience
Must have an operational cell phone
Ability to bend and squat
Climb/step-up into a truck cab
Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, varying walking surfaces and elevation
Lift at least 70 pounds up to 100 pounds at a time, from the floor to shoulder height, throughout the day. These may be in the form of bags or boxes of paper, hard drives, and other forms of media. Wheeled shredding bins may weigh up to 300 pounds.
Must be able to speak and understand English
Must have a professional appearance
Must be a U.S. citizen and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipMust pass pre-employment testing to include state and federal background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
