GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Safely transport goods and waste from Goodwill locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Safely transport persons with disabilities in compliance with Americans with Disabilities (ADA) requirements. This duty is performed daily, about 50% of the time.
2. Operate a specially adapted bus/van over specific routes; pick up clients at designated stops; operate hydraulic lift for clients. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.
3. Assist clients to and from buildings; serve as a guide for visually impaired and injured clients; provide mobility orientation assistance for new clients. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
4. Coordinate pick-up schedules; maintain log of clients receiving services. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
5. Perform safety inspections on bus and adaptive equipment and ensure completion of necessary repairs. This duty is performed weekly, about 5% of the time.
6. Maintain required files and records. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.
7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; 1 year of Class A CDL driving and/ or a combination of education and experience.
