Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a Bus Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and other locations. You will ensure the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations!
What You'll Do:
- Establish routes, schedules and procedures with the school director to maximize safety for the children.
- Observe all Department of Motor Vehicle rules and regulations and make sure all speed limits are observed.
- Complete a daily inspection of the bus, a weekly inspection of tires, oil, blades, etc. and report all bus maintenance issues to the Director.
- Ensure the bus is clean and has an adequate amount of fuel to complete the trip.
- Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
- Assist in other areas as requested by management.
What You'll Need:
- A Drivers License
- A CDL B or a CDL A with a passenger endorsement
- Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- To have your High school Diploma - any ECE credits a plus!
- To be capable of meeting the physical demands of driving. a bus and working with children
- To complete the following trainings/ requirements:
- Willing to work part time hours
- CPR and First Aid
- Comprehensive Background Check
- Annual TB Test and Physical
