DeLallo has immediate openings for dependable, experienced CDL Class-A Truck Drivers to efficiently deliver product to customers in a safe, courteous, professional, compliant, and timely manner. These Local Delivery Routes are available for drivers with a clean driving record and a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. These routes originate and return to our site in Mount Pleasant PA daily.
We currently have 2 positions available:
- Local delivery – Pittsburgh and surrounding area – you will be picking up and dropping off packages, interacting with our customers, and possibly deliver in some tight spaces (city).
- Regional Delivery – Central & Eastern PA – delivering to mostly distribution centers – no touch deliveries.
Job Description & Qualifications:
- Commercial driver’s license
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial tractor trailer driving experience
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck in congested areas and backing up to docks
- Observe all local, state and federal laws
- Properly track pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Maintain communication with Dispatch
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Complete all necessary paperwork
- Comply with all applicable Department of Transportation regulations and DeLallo company policies and procedures
- Unload product safely while maintaining the integrity of the product, utilizing carts, hand trucks, and/or pallet jacks
- Reliable with great work ethic
