Elipticon Wood Products, Inc. is currently looking to fill a Class A CDL Driver/Shipping position in our 100% employee-owned company. Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
- Two to four-day long-haul trips every other week currently with possibility of every week
- Deliver short-haul or long-haul loads with straight truck or tractor trailer
- Safely load, secure product, and unload vehicle
- Package material and load trucks
- Perform pre and post trip inspections
- Maintain trucks to DOT regulations and our standards
- Keep paper logs or ELD current and accurate
- Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
- Assist Shipping or Fulfillment department when not driving
- Make boxes and labels for materials
- Help with monthly inventory
- Communicate with your Team on work order priorities
- Knowledge of materials
Qualifications:
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
- Clean driving record. No record of citation or conviction of any DUI/OWI or Reckless Driving within the previous 5 years
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline-oriented
- Class A tractor trailer CDL Required
- Able to obtain Fed Med card

Physical Demands:
- Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color
Work Environment:
- Occasionally exposed to loud noise level when visiting the shop floor
- When loading and unloading can be outdoors
