Summary:Operators transport, operate and service heavy equipment used in clearing railroad derailments by lifting and moving derailed railway cars and locomotives, and perform similar on environmental remediation sites, industrial locations, load transfers, and rail construction.
Responsibilities of Operator/Driver
· Sets up and operates heavy equipment
· Drives tractor-trailer or escort vehicles
· Services and maintains heavy equipment, trucks and trailers
· Carries, handles and detaches/attaches heavy steel chains, blocks and steel cables
Requirements:
· Must possess a CDL A Driver’s License
· Clean driving record required
· Must be able to respond as an on call 24/7/365
· ABILITY to weld a plus!
