The Role

The CDL Driver at Tricolor Auto is a member of the drive team in charge of transporting inventory vehicles.

What will you be doing at Ganas Auto?

• Drive different types of trucks/trailers (Car Haulers 3, 5, 6, 10)
• Perform visual damage inspection of vehicles and reports using a tablet
• Drive Auto Carrier from origin to destination to deliver vehicles to Tricolor Reconditioning Center(s) or Dealership location(s)
• Secure each vehicle to the trailer using wheel straps and a ratchet system.
• Adjust and secure movable trailer decks and ramps.
• Remove vehicle securement straps from each wheel to prepare for unloading.
• Drive vehicles off the truck/trailer and release them to the customer at the destination.
• Report all vehicle pickups and deliveries to the company using a handheld computer.
• Perform a safety inspection of the truck and trailer at beginning of the shift and record it in the logbook.
• Interact professionally and politely as needed with customers at the origin and destination.
• Handle vehicles with great care at all times.
• Always drive safely.
• Always keep the truck clean and presentable.
• Ensure that the auto transport trailer meets safety standards and height and weight restrictions.

• CMV Driver Certification
• Someone with 2+ years of Car Hauling experience (6 Car Hauler)
• With a valid CDL License – Class A license and a good driving history
• Have transportation logistics experience such as determining navigation strategy, loading logistics to fit units set for delivery
