The primary task of the Ready-Mix Driver is driving a concrete mixer to and from plant/work sites. Other responsibilities include...

• Maintaining appropriate paperwork and logbooks
• Conducting and documenting pre-trips and post-trips
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain appearance of truck by washing the exterior, inside of the drum and the cab.
• Required to always adhere to Company safety policy and rules and meet Rahns' Construction Material Company Driver Qualification Standards
• Overtime and some night/weekend work is required.
• Must pass DOT physical and primary drug screen.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively
• 2 years of related experience or training preferred
• Class A or B driver's license with current medical card
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years
• Minimal moving violations
• Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff
• Interpreting written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to work a variable-hour schedule

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, carry, kneel, ascend and descend stairs and bend.
• Ability to walk on uneven and/or slippery surfaces.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
