Night shift--usual start time 5pm-- Monday to Thursday with Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays available
****No touch work!! Driver will be transporting containers from the ports to offsite port logistics yards and customer locations.****
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Class A Driver will be responsible for transporting containers from the ports to offsite port logistics yards and customer locations.
- No Touch
- Operate combination tractor & trailer in safe & efficient manner.
- Ability to interact with dispatch and customers daily and take direction in a professional manner.
- Driver must have good communication skills with a team orientated approach.
- Comply with and have a strong knowledge of all DOT Regulations, including Hours of Service and electronic logs.
Work experience and skills
- 1 year of previous Class A driving experience with 1 year within the past 36 months
- 6 or more months of Port experience preferred
- 23 years of age or older
- Valid Medical Certification and CDLA
- Valid TWIC Card
- No record of DUI or Reckless Driving within the past 5 years
- Safe Driving Record
