Veriha Trucking, Inc. is hiring CDL A OTR DryVan Drivers in the Midwest & Northeast States, to haul a diverse mix of loads, including a significant volume of household goods. We hire drivers who live throughout the Midwest or Northeast States of IA (east of Des Moines), IL, IN, KY (west of Lexington), MI (south of Saginaw), MN, NY (western portions), PA, OH & WI

In 1978 John Veriha established Veriha Trucking in Porterfield, Wisconsin. He made long-haul interstate runs by himself, transporting products to California and back. From humble beginnings his reputation, dedication, and reliability allowed the company to grow and prosper. Now, Veriha has 250+ Tractors and 600 trailers. Karen Smerchek, daughter and active President at Veriha Trucking, wants to keep the legacy of her father going with hardworking drivers just like him to be a part of this strong trucking business.

Compensation:

• Average weekly earnings: $1,300 - $1,800
  • Drivers are paid up to 62 CPM with an average of 2,500 - 3,000 miles per week
    • Guaranteed pay through an earning assurance program - designed so you are always paid for your hard work
      • Pay is determined by driver MVR, work history, and driving experience
• Additional pay opportunities include:
  • Quarterly Safety Bonus
  • Quarterly Performance Bonus
  • Hazmat and Clean DOT Inspection Pay
  • $25 Paid Stop-Off (after first stop or pick-up)
  • $20 / per hour Paid Detention (after only 1 hour)
  • Referral Bonus Opportunity: (earn 1 week of PTO)
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

• Paid Orientation for Experienced Drivers:

    • Experienced drivers are eligible right away

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home every other week / bi-weekly
• Schedule: Out 12-14 days and home for a full 72 hours
  • Drivers can stay out on the road longer at their own request
• Route: Drivers are dispatched from the nearest park location to their home, then drive throughout our operating area
  • Operating Area: Mostly Midwest & Northeast
• Level of Touch: 100% no-touch freight

Equipment:

• Late Model Tractors Only! We take pride in our equipment and understand it’s not just a truck it’s your home and office on wheels
• Truck Types: Freightliner Cascadia’s, Volvo VNL64T760 and T870
  • Amenities:
    • All trucks have an Idle Management System to include Tri-Pac/Carrier Units or Optimized Idle w/ParkSmart system dependent on the make of tractor
    • All tractors have Collision Mitigation and Lane Departure Systems
    • 2022 and newer Freightliners are also equipped with Detroit Assurance 5.0
• Automatic
• Inward and outward-facing cameras

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid US Driver’s license and a valid CDL A license
• Drivers must have 6-months of CDL-A experience
  • No experience or CDL A yet? No problem! We offer paid training to help you obtain your CDL A and embark on a successful trucking career.

• Drivers will ideally not have more than 2 jobs within the last 12 months to be highly considered
• 0 minimum DUI/DWIs in last 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen, hair drug screen, and functional capacity evaluation
• Must be able to successfully complete a full pre-trip inspection during a road evaluation
