SalaryResponsibilities
- Drive dump truck hauling materials throughout various states.
- Drive Low Boy Truck/Trailer in loading and delivering heavy construction equipment
- Pre-Trip inspections of trucks
- Obtain permits from various states
- Load and unload trucks from job site to job site
- Weekly cleaning (inside and out) of truck
- Drives safely and cares for equipment
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL driver’s license in the state of residence
- Good driving record for past 3 years
- Current medical examiners certificate
- No more than two traffic violations in the past year, no more than four traffic violations in the past three years
- No license suspensions in the last three years; no more than one suspension in the last ten years and no more than two in a lifetime
- No convictions for alcohol / drug-related offenses in the past five years
- No felony convictions or criminal charges
- No convictions for careless (of a higher degree) or reckless driving in the past five years
- Must have a verifiable, solid work history
- Prefer dump truck experience within the Charlotte area of two or more years
