Form of workABS is now hiring! We are looking for a CDL A Delivery Driver: on a flatbed truck for our Sanford, FL Lumber Yard. Help us do what we do best- building Florida.
American Builders Supply is Florida’s largest independent supplier of building materials for the residential building market statewide with locations in Jacksonville, Sanford, Clermont, Melbourne, Winter Haven, Tampa, and Fort Myers
Responsibilities:
* Please note: The Make and model of the trucks are 579 Peterbilt.
- Maintains service logs and pre/post-trip inspection procedures
- Follow DOT and OSHA regulations
- Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of delivery
- Verifies order details and maintains log of deliveries, including amounts and/or weights, mileage, and locations of deliveries.
- Check items against invoice to ensure accuracy of order
Preferred Job Skills:
- Forklift experience
- Strong work ethic
- Effective communications, both verbal and written
- Commercial Driver’s License Class A (Required)
- Experience delivering materials on a flatbed truck
- Experience driving/delivering within new residential communities
