What You Will Do:
- Drive and operate trucks in a safe and responsible manner by adhering to all regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform pre and post trip safety checks of equipment and trailers including brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors to ensure vehicles are in proper working order and accurately complete supporting documentation.
- Follow and maintain proper loading procedures to secure cargo and re-check the cargo in transit when necessary.
- Visit weigh stations for weight verification as needed.
- Inspection of trailers and equipment before and after loading, accurately complete all necessary documentation and reporting.
- Proper documentation and tracking of activity log.
- Follow traffic safety regulations at all times, using caution in unstable weather and road conditions.
- Use of GPS to stay informed of route information and proper communication with office and job site management.
- Performing snow removal duties on routes designated by supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- Must have Class A CDL license with at least 2 years of End Dump operating experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is required
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An eagerness to come in every day and help the team to improve on what we did the previous day
- Ability to use GPS technology or read maps
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crouch and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds occasionally (Team lift or utilizing equipment)
- Requires driving between company or customer locations
- Travel within the Denver Metro Area
