Your full-time role will include providing a full range of management duties including:

New Installation & Service

  • Update customer and CRM records with all events and throughout each job
  • Completion of key tasks within agreed deadlines
  • Manage and lead Project Managers on aspects of all CCTV installations and services
  • Ensure service on customers' site is never down for more than 30 mins.
  • Ensure high quality workmanship by all trades
  • Monitor the standards of service, customer satisfaction, staff morale and initiate or recommend appropriate timely corrective action
  • Ensure deadlines, service and maintenance contract obligations are met
  • Advise management on risk, provide technical/professional advice and ensure compliance with legislation
  • Ensure high levels of customer service, focusing on service delivery, first time fix, timely and effective communication
  • Ensure all members of staff have clear direction, feedback and recognition for their activities
  • Review new project proposals and develop execution plans
  • Provide tech support and on-site help whenever required
  • Control and reduce lost time (non-productive hours)
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key customers
  • Discipline employees within established legislative and corporate guidelines
  • Provide constant communication with employees, peers, and management

Purchasing & Inventory Control Management

  • Ensure all inventory, both local or customer's property, is at its appropriate place at all times
  • Accurate forecasting and maintenance of required stock
  • Ensure fitness of all equipment is at 100%
  • Create parts list for new installations
  • Liaise with the accounting and operations department to resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies and/or issues.
  • Recommend and implement approved Inventory Control policies and processes that relate to other departments

Plant & Equipment Maintenance

  • Ensure warehouse is clean and organized at all times
  • Ensure network is functioning in the most efficient fashion
  • Maintain wellness of vehicles, trailers and pole at 100%
  • Maintain documentation on all equipment, building infrastructure, etc. such as machine manuals, assembly drawings, spare part lists, and preventive/predictive and emergency breakdown work orders/instructions
  • Coordinate with outside contractors on equipment repairs and to source the most effective repairs and upgrades cost

Estimates

  • For customers, staff and trades
  • Site surveys
  • Accurate time allotment to be accurately tabulated before each job
  • Maximum accuracy for all of the above

Record Keeping (digital format only)

  • Maintain Installation manual is up to date
  • Create new manuals and update existing manuals
  • Update CRM with detailed activity with every client interaction
  • Maintaining up to date password list shared with operations
  • Video record all equipment after installation, create protocol

Innovation

  • Implement improvements to our company's infrastructure and offering
  • Educate all staff at every possible opportunity
  • Update L1S with all learning and services
  • Ensure all services, than can be done remotely, are done by L1
  • Ensure Birdseye is using the most efficient and cost effective way to deliver sold services
