Job Duties
The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Commonwealth Community Care (CCC) Plus Waiver Supervisor in the Office of Community Living Division.
This position is primarily responsible for providing operational oversight for programs focusing on all Medicaid 1915(c) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waivers. This position ensures that all HCBS Quality Measure for Waiver Assurances are in compliance with CMS requirements; ensures the health plans and other internal/external stakeholder submit quality performance measures accurately & timely.
This position supervises and directs the daily operational functions of the waiver unit by providing guidance & oversight of the HCBS waiver quality process & quality improvement team (QIT), critical incidents (CI), quality management reviews (QMR), DD waiver quality review team (QRT), FFS PDN services, FFS training, and anything related to the 1915(c) HCBS waiver.
The supervisor assist staff in completing all assigned and required duties; and works closely on a daily basis with the Manager to ensure high-quality program operations. The position works within the division and across the agency to meet strategic plans, objectives, and new initiatives. This position ensures the timely effective implementation of waiver operations including development, revisions and reporting. Assists in the development and revision of regulations, policies, training, and reporting for state and federal authorities. This position manages staff time in Cardinal HCM and assist staff with resolving issues around it.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Knowledge of Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) waiver.
Knowledge of Medicaid web portal (MMIS/CRMS) or similar systems.
Considerable knowledge of the Commonwealth Community Care Plus (CCC Plus) waiver and it's requirements.
Experience in healthcare program development and implementation.
Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Suites to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Considerable knowledge of federal/state health care laws, regulations and policies.
Experience adhering to stringent deadlines.
Considerable experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Considerations
Competitive candidates will meet additional considerations:
Experience with SharePoint, critical incidents reporting requirements, facilitating meetings, project management and supervising staff are all a plus.
