Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking experienced CATV Technician for a contract position. Candidates will provide assistance with the installation, termination, of TV Cables.. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player and must have experience with the following:

• Detailed knowledge of cable TV systems, broadband systems, head-ends, and related equipment
• Detailed infrastructure knowledge and installation experience
• Detailed knowledge of structured cabling - coaxial, fiber, unshielded twisted pair cable assemblies, and proper installation of each.
• Cable bundling techniques, stitching, and securing.
• Detailed knowledge of secondary DC Power
• Detailed knowledge of optical fiber – cleaning, scoping, testing
• Attention to detail and high quality of work is a must.
• Basic PC or phone application use
• Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook Skills
• Labeling using LabelMark software, BMP labelers, P-Touch, etc
• Ability to read and understand engineering design packages.
• BOM creation
• Experienced in using different types of testing devices like DSAM, OTDR, VFL, etc.
• Critical thinker, problem solver, and great communication skills
