Find us on Facebook at Rolling Vale Farms
Rolling Vale Farms is a family founded and operated farming business located in the hills of Western Maryland. Our family has been farming here for over 150 years. While the focus of our farm has changed over that period of time, today our operation consists of two core businesses; Grain and Cattle Production.
Our main goal at RVF is to be good stewards of the land. With so many people so far removed from agricultural production these days, we feel that it is our responsibility to maintain and improve the land for future generations. It is a goal of ours to communicate with the public about what modern agriculture is like, and how we are trying to do it sustainably, while producing the highest quality food in the world, for the best price.
RVF maintains a full time staff of 9 year round. We take pride in providing good jobs for the community and being a local economic driver. We want to see local businesses thrive, and feel that it is through thriving local businesses that our community will prosper.
Our main values here at RVF are Integrity, Honesty, and a commitment to do the absolute best job we can as stewards of the land and caretakers of the animals with which we work. We hope that through our actions our local community and the people with whom we interact can see how important taking care of the land is, and how hard all the people involved in the food supply chain work to provide the safest food products in the world.
We WILL maintain farmland for the next generation, and leave it better than we found it.
