Sunbelt staffing isseeking a skilled and dedicated Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Nurseto join our team on a travel basis in Olathe, Kansas
Shift:
- 13 weeks
- 7a-5:30p
- 4x10
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Assist in Procedures:
- Assist physicians in the preparation and performance of cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
- Operate and manage specialized equipment in the cath lab.
Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families about the catheterization procedure, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
- Address any concerns or questions, ensuring informed consent.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Certification in cardiac catheterization or critical care nursing is a plus.
