On-call Requirements: Call in rotation with other techs
We are currently seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to join our team for a 14-week contract. The ideal candidate will have Cath Lab experience with interventional and diagnostic left heart caths, right heart caths w/wo biopsy, structural hearts cases: TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO, ASD repair, Watchman, vascular cases: peripheral run-offs, EVARS, TEVARS. The candidate must have a current ARRT (R) license and BLS, ACLS certification.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct interventional and diagnostic left heart caths, right heart caths w/wo biopsy, structural hearts cases: TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO, ASD repair, Watchman, vascular cases: peripheral run-offs, EVARS, TEVARS.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the Cath Lab team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Current ARRT (R) license.
- BLS, ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Ability to conduct interventional and diagnostic left heart caths, right heart caths w/wo biopsy, structural hearts cases: TAVR, Mitraclip, PFO, ASD repair, Watchman, vascular cases: peripheral run-offs, EVARS, TEVARS.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work on-call and weekends as needed.
