Job Summary
We currently have eight Cath Lab Same Day Surgery rooms and four Cardiac Cath Lab procedure rooms. We work with ten Cardiologist seven of which are interventionist. Current hours of operation are 0630 to 1900 with one night of call per week for 3 hours at end of work shift. Located at the Healthplex campus on the second floor. We will soon be expanding to have 16 Same Day Surgery rooms, five Cath Lab Procedure rooms and two additional rooms for procedures that do not require x-ray.
The RNs job duties will include:
- Assisting with a variety of highly specialized procedures for Cath Lab patients.
- Assists with preparation of the Patient including maintaining sterile environment during procedures.
- Perform Pre-op workflow on all Cath Lab Patients
- Assists in the post procedural care of the patient to ensure optimal outcome and patient satisfaction thru discharge.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support
