REPORTS TO: Catering Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Assist the Catering Service Manager in preparation and execution of food service activities of catered business and social functions, both on and offsite.

WORK HOURS: Roth’s Fresh Markets reserves the right to change daily and weekly work schedules and the number of hours per day and per week to be worked from time to time with notice consistent with applicable law to meet varying conditions of business. Although we are interested in providing our employees with a stable work schedule, our ability to do so depends on our assessment of work needs and business conditions.

PAY: Industry competitive rates of pay.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. No employee shall pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others

2. Educational requirement – High school diploma or GED

3. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions

4. Must be able to work as a team and communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees, under all circumstances

5. Must demonstrate a friendly outgoing approach to dealing with others

6. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

7. Must be age 18 or older

8. Must be able to get along with others

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Set-Up of room (tables, chairs, coffee service, etc.)

2. Prepare proper signage on the readerboard to greet and direct event participants

3. Deliver food and beverage from the Deli Department and/or food preparation area to the event location

4. Drives catering vehicle for delivery to and from the event

5. Loads and unloads delivery vehicle(s)

6. Assists with tear-down and clean-up and event completion

7. Assists with restocking of supplies

8. Assists with set-up and operation of audio-visual equipment
