G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add a Catering Services Security Agent to the operations at (Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport) (DFW)
Title: Catering Services Security Agent
Pay Rate: $15.00hr
Shift: 3:30am- 12:00pm

The Catering Services Security Agent ensures food carts, catering equipment, and catering trucks are secured in the catering units and en route to the aircraft according to TSA and Airline regulations. Inspects airline equipment and checks for any unauthorized items.
What does a Catering Service Agent do?
Must be familiar with all Government/Airport/Client and Company regulations
Deals courteously and communicates effectively with fellow employees
Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to managers
Must conduct physical searches and take proper action upon detecting a questionable or dangerous item
Conduct an inspection of food, sealed items, beverages, serving utensils, supplies, liquor, and duty-free items
Focus on external appearances- appropriate weights- signs of tampering with packaging, insertion of inappropriate items
Food carts and supply trolley inspections must include side panels, doors, undercarriages, and dry ice compartments for items that do not belong. Searching under carts/trolleys/trays may be accomplished with a mirror
Inspection must occur inside the catering facility or on the loading dock and be conducted to the extent permitted by local laws and hygiene standards
Search the inside of the vehicles for weapons, explosives, and other deadly or dangerous items just prior to loading catering carts
Escort all catering carts from when the monitoring/inspection is completed until the carts are loaded onto the transport vehicle
After concluding the search and loading, close and seal all carts with tamper-evident security seals
The air carrier or representative meeting the carts at the aircraft will inspect the seal for signs of tampering prior to breaking it
If a seal shows signs of tampering or is discovered broken, the suspect cart must be searched for weapons, explosives, and other dangerous devices before loading on the aircraft
All seals must be stored in a locked container and protected from unauthorized access
Notify or ensure immediate Law Enforcement Officer and/or Airline Ground Security Coordinator notification when necessary
Ensure safe handling of dangerous or deadly weapons/objects discovered until the Law Enforcement Officer arrives
Contact the Law Enforcement Officer if contraband (illegal items) are discovered during the screening process. Maintain control of items until the arrival of the L.E.O.
Report all Government tests, real weapons, injuries, and other major incidents to the supervisor immediately
Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area, and report maintenance needs
Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and the public in a courteous manner
Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports, and files as required
Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials
Identification badges must always be visible
Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in the achievement of company objectives
Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources conscientiously and cost-effectively
Perform other duties as requested
What skills are required to Join the Team?
High School diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a reliable telephone number for contact
Must have reliable transportation
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills

Previous airline experience
Previous experience in security, military, and customer service
