Responsibilities:
- Load and unload catering equipment and supplies from trucks
- Safely transport catering equipment and supplies to event venues using route driving techniques
- Set up catering equipment and supplies at event venues according to client specifications
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Serve food and beverages to event attendees in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering equipment, vehicles, and work areas
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating vehicles and handling equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a catering or food service role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cargo vehicles is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading and setting up equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and event attendees
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate setup and presentation of food and beverages
Note: This job may require occasional weekend or evening availability depending on event schedules.
