As a member of our team, you will perform various imaging procedures in adherence to industry standards and regulations. Reports to: Director of Imaging/Radiology Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients about procedures and equipment.
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications. Monitor patient condition and respond to changes. Prepare equipment and supplies.
Select exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results and identify issues with image quality. Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
Utilize Electronic Health Record effectively. Call will be assigned on an as-needed basis. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - External Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology ARRT registered in Radiology Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire. Required Skills: Critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
