Cat Lounge Attendant / Barista

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cat Lounge Attendant and Barista at our Cat Cafe! This position is responsible for providing excellent care and attention to the Cat Lounge and the adoptable cats within it. You will also be behind the counter often serving espresso drinks, specialty beverages, and pastries. This is an exciting opportunity for cat and coffee lovers to serve our community!

Duties:
- Opening or closing Cat Lounge, including cleaning and sanitizing the space daily
- Craft espresso drinks and other beverages
- Engage with visitors, answering questions about the cats and providing information about adoption opportunities
- Check groups of visitors into the Cat Lounge, go over guidelines and monitor guests during their visit
- Maintain a clean environment in the Cat Lounge and Cafe throughout the day

Requirements:
- Genuine love for cats with personal or professional feline experience
- Strong attention to detail while cleaning and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking to groups and enforcing guidelines
- Barista or cafe experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to handle cats of various temperaments and behaviors
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
